2012 BMW 640d Coupé



The German auto manufacturer, BMW, has planned a new 2012 BMW 640d Coupe model since March 2011, which means that the company has really strong desire and feeling to release the new product. But at that time they were only planning to use two power train schemes of 640i and the 650i.

But now, the company is planning to produce new family ride within the 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe that will also include diesel engine as an option. There will be three different power options for the ride, starting from the BMW Coupe 650i along with the eight cylinder system that will deliver 407 hp, the BMW Coupe 640i along with petrol in line six cylinder engine that will deliver 320 hp and to BMW Coupe 640d along with diesel in line six cylinder engine that will deliver 313 hp.

The BMW 640d Coupé is fitted as standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission with Auto Start-Stop and active air flaps behind the kidney grille. Such engineering expertise is the reason why the model offers rapid performance but can still achieve 51.4mpg on the combined cycle and record CO2 emissions of 145g/km.

As with all BMWs, the new 6-Series Coupé comes with a raft of BMW EfficientDynamics measures to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. In addition to the features highlighted on the 640i Coupé and 640d Coupé, all models have technology such as Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering (EPS), the need-based operation of ancillary components and intelligent lightweight construction to ensure maximum efficiency as standard.

Standard for the 640d Coupé are 18-inch light alloy wheels. All derivatives feature Dakota leather upholstery, eight-speed Sport automatic transmission, electric seat adjustment with memory, BMW Professional Multimedia Navigation system, Xenon headlights, LED front fog lights and front and rear Park Distance Control to name but a few of the standard specification highlights.

New BMW 3 Series, will soon be more diverse and more interesting with the introduction of intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel drive. The BMW 335i xDrive, BMW 328i xDrive, BMW 320i xDrive and BMW 320d xDrive all-wheel-drive models will be sold in the summer of 2012.

In the spring of 2012, BMW will launch a three-engine on to the number of new sports sedan, all the prototypes in a lot of energy supply and greater efficiency. After the BMW 328i attractive, four-cylinder model has been presented today, the new BMW 320i is coming second model controlled by a member of the new generation 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine family. New BMW 320i, this TwinPower Turbo engines develop maximum power of 135 kW/184 hp 5,000 rpm and maximum torque of 270 Nm at only 1250 rpm. The turbodiesel next two models, the North is based on the core 2.0-liter engine used in the BMW 320d also impressive power and torque development. In the BMW 318d, the diesel engine developing maximum output of 105 kW/143 hp at 4,000 rpm and maximum torque reaching 320 Nm available between 1750 and 2500 North rpm. Fuel consumption is very low, the BMW 316d, in turn, developed a maximum output of 85 kW/116 hp at 4,000 rpm and maximum torque of 260 Nm, again between 1750 and 2500 rpm. Versions of the others will follow, including a six-cylinder diesel unit and various xDrive model. Fall 2012 will finally see the launch of BMW ActiveHybrid 3.
